Tons of Oboe Online On Demand

Thursday Sept. 23, 2010 will be an unprecedented day(to the best of my knowledge) in the double reed history of concerts being streamed LIVE on the internet.  You will be able to watch a LIVE Vaughan Williams Oboe Concerto from Turku, Finland(follow my directions below) at 12 Noon Eastern Time(19:00 Finland) AND a LIVE Strauss Duett-Concertino from Lyon, France at 2:30pm Eastern(20:30 Central European Time).  The Seattle Symphony will be streamed(audio) in the evening.  See the bottom of this post.

I hope that both of these shows will be archived, but I make no promise of it.  Watch LIVE(and hope for no technical problems) to avoid disappointment.

You need a user name and password for both sites.  It is imperative to do this for the Turku stream.  You might not need it for the medici.tv stream, but it is easy to get, so why not??
